The Asian Federation Against Involuntary Disappearance, commonly known as AFAD, is a federation of nonprofit organizations in Asia, that are working together, collectively, to dislodge involuntary disappearance in the Asian continent.

AFAD is one of the newly established NGOs in the Philippines. It is situated in Rooms 310-311 Philippine Social Science Center Bldg. Commonwealth Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines.

AFAD was founded in 1998 to proffer a long-lasting solution to involuntary disappearances in Asian countries. The organization envisions a society without disappearance. A world where people, irrespective of their gender, ethnicity, color, or, political class, feel safe and protected.

And, to respond to the needs of the families of the disappeared, the organization facilitates empowerment which is crucial for the realization of a society without disappearance. In addition, AFAD works with similar NGOs in other continents to promote and defend enforced disappearance.
