AWARE Singapore

Association of Women for Action and Research, also abbreviated as AWARE, is a nonprofit organization that focuses on gender equality and empowerment. Its mission is to empower women and girls worldwide through research, education, and action. They work to improve the lives of women and girls by fighting for change in their societies.

They are one of the most active charity organizations in Singapore, with branches all over the city-state. In addition to their work with research and education, AWARE also provides social services to the community. Most notable are their campaigns against human trafficking and child sex abuse.
