Bui National Park is in a typical woodland savanna zone, bisected by Black Volta and spanning 1,821 square kilometers, bordering Ivory Coast on the West. It is the fourth largest National Park in Ghana, after Kakum National Park, Digya National Park, and Mole National Park. It boasts a sizeable population of Hippopotamus in the Black Volta. The park houses a variety of Antelopes, black and white Colobus, and a dozen species of birds.
