Childreach Nepal is a registered non-governmental organization in Nepal founded in 2009. It is one of many NGOs in Nepal catering to children.
Since its formation, the organization has actively expanded its presence to different districts across Nepal, including places like Bhaktapur, Dolakha, Kavrepalanchowk, Sindhupalchowk, and Kathmandu.
Childreach Nepal, in collaboration with local communities and other NGOs, coupled with the Government of Nepal, is working to provide help to children, especially the vulnerable ones.
Right from the early days of its commitment to working with children at risk of abuse, the organization ensures that schools are at the forefront of community development.
Childreach Nepal believes that with proper care and exposure to quality education, children can be safe from human traffickers; hence, it is working extensively on pushing high literacy levels in the hosting communities and beyond.
That said, children can be prevented from falling victim to child trafficking if they stay in school rather than drop out and roaming on the streets.
To cut the level of child trafficking further down the chart, Children Nepal strives to improve the quality of education offered to children. And also increase income and livelihood for their parents.
