African Women’s Development and Communication Network, popularly known as FEMNET, is an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) established in 1988 to promotes women’s development in Kenya and across the continent of Africa.

FEMNET, with headquarters in Nairobi, has operational bases in other African countries, including South Africa, Uganda, Malawi, Ghana, Swaziland, and Zambia, etc.

The organization partners with over a dozen non-governmental organizations in Kenya to address the issues of gender equality and promote women’s development and other human rights.

The UN Women, Christian Aid, International Women’s Health Coalition, African Women’s Development Fund, and the Global Fund for Women are some of the partners of FEMNET.
