The Malaysian AIDS Council is an NGO that seeks to address the issues of stigma and help people living with HIV/AIDS. The organization was established by the ministry of health and consists of more than 18 other NGOs that are helping people with HIV find hope.
The rate of HIV/AIDS in Malaysia has been reduced in no small way by the presence of these charity organizations working with the Malaysian AIDS Council.
Whether or not someone is diagnosed with HIV/AIDS such a person can live as long as anyone else when the virus is identified and the person is taken care of.
The organization is working directly with the ministry of health and constantly receiving donations from individuals and other NGOs in Malaysia.
