Mole National Park is the largest and one of seven National Parks in Ghana, spanning an area of 4,577 square kilometers. The park is rich in biodiversity and houses 334 bird species, 120 butterfly species, nine amphibian species, and 33 reptiles. In addition, the park is home to 90 mammal species, five primate species, Buffalo, Red-flanked Duiker, Defassa Waterbuck, Roan Antelope, Kob, Western hartebeest, Black, and White Colobus Monkey, Elephant, Leopard, and Lion.
