It is sad the number of Malaysians who die in custody and others who have been abused physically and psychologically.

Taking into account the regression in observance of human rights, especially by the police; the inadequacy of accountability by officers of the law to those in their custody, and the misuse of power.

The National Human Rights Society is an NGO fighting to bring justice to many who have been victimized by the police in Malaysia.

It does this by carrying out its campaigns against police brutality, death in police custody, and standing against arrest without trial.

The National Human Rights Society has been fighting for this course for more than twenty-five years.

It organizes campaigns to educate people about their basic rights, to educate people on human trafficking, and to make them know how to participate in government and affect its decisions as it affects them.

The main aim is to seek social justice and help those who are victims of arrest without trial and other similar circumstances.
