WaterAid Ghana is a non-government organization with an established presence in over 13 countries worldwide.

The organization is in the same school of thought that “clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene save lives,” and rightly so. Therefore, it has invested a large chunk of funds and workforce over the past years to salvage the dire water situation.

According to a report, over 5.5 million people in Ghana are still without access to clean water. Nearly 24 million people don’t have a decent toilet. And more than 2,100 children under 5-years die each year from diarrhea.

However, for a country whose aim is to become one of the world’s economic power by 2029, clean water, hygiene, and toilet are of utmost importance to the population.
